Little things you can do to improve your health

Alright, people don't have time or will to do heavy exercise or whatnot. So, here are some little things you can do to improve your muscle tone, body posture, immune system and overall health:

1. When getting up in the morning, take 10 minutes to do push-ups and sit-ups. As time goes on, do more in the same time frame. Spend extra 5-10 minutes to stretch.
2. Replace sugar with honey in your breakfast. Halve the salt intake in your diet.
3. Bag your lunch: it is cheaper and it is also healthier. You know how much fat and salt you put in your meal. You also know how clean your kitchen is and that your hands are washed.
4. Have a cup of coffee (or tea) to wake you up - it is good for you.
5. Drink water throughout the day but do not overdo it.
6. Lose the sodas from your diet.
7. Do not overeat at night. Breakfast can be cereal, nuggets, wheat bran, oat bran, honey, milk, coffee or you can have bread, eggs, bacon (in moderation) etc. Lunch can be anything really. Snack smart: eat healthy stuff like bars, nuts, fruits, vegetables. Dinner should be a light salad or small piece of fish or something you know will digest before you hit the sheets.
8. Avoid processed foods: the more you prepare your food from fresh ingredients, the cheaper it is and the healthier it is. Processed foods have bad stuff in them: high-fructose corn syrup, salts, fats etc.

People say that cooking takes a lot of time. It does not if you know how and it helps if food is prepared on a weekend and then eaten throughout the week. Remember, no matter what you eat, it comes out by the end of the day and it all looks the same...

Peace out.
